lesbian, gay, bi,
trans, queer or questioning at SMC? Meet others!
Who
is q@SMC?
queer @
SMC is a group of queer people at the University of St.
Michael's College in Toronto, Canada, and our supporters. q@SMC was
formed by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer and questioning
people at the USMC, to support and advocate for each other.
What do you do?
q@SMC holds a couple of events each month, usually a social
event and a discussion event. We go to plays, dinners, picnics, movies,
play laser tag... whatever we like! q@SMC provides an environment where
people at SMC can be open about their sexuality and not need to feel
closeted.
We also work with the college and the students towards the goal of
inclusiveness at SMC, regardless of sexuality.
You can check out our upcoming events briefly here. But if you want the details, you need to
signup for the events email list - email info@queeratsmc.net and we'll get
you hooked up.
How do I get involved?
Come to our events! Have fun! Help us organize and advertise
them. Take on special projects if you like. There's lots of
opportunities for involvement with q@SMC - email info@queeratsmc.net and let us
know that you'd like to get involved!
